VANNI Eyewear has received the Women’s Sunglasses Frame of the Year award for its EMBRACE Collection at the 2025 Love Eyewear Awards, held during 100% Optical in London.
What is 100% Optical?
100% Optical is the UK’s largest optical event, bringing together eyewear brands, designers, opticians, and industry professionals from around the world. The event serves as a platform for the latest innovations in eyewear design, optical technology, and professional education.
The Love Eyewear Awards
The Love Eyewear Awards were created to recognize creativity, innovation, and excellence in the eyewear industry. A panel of experts, including stylists, journalists, and eyewear influencers, evaluates each entry based on design originality, craftsmanship, and functionality. There were 12 categories in 2024 including Luxury Frame of The Year, New Designer, both men and women’s frames of the year.
The EMBRACE Collection
The EMBRACE Collection is a limited-edition eyewear line designed in collaboration with Elisa Alberti, the winner of the VANNI #ArtistRoom Award at Artissima 2023. Known for her work with abstract forms and organic shapes, Alberti translated her artistic vision into eyewear that merges bold aesthetics with intricate craftsmanship.
The sunglasses feature rounded, sculptural temples that extend seamlessly into the front frame, evoking Alberti’s signature artistic style. The collection consists of two acetate models, available in striking black/blue and white/black color combinations. The contrasting colors interact dynamically as light shifts, giving the frames a three-dimensional, fluid quality.
Availability
The EMBRACE Collection was a limited production collection, originally released in late November of 2024. The frames are currently still available through VANNI’s official website and select retailers worldwide. Now that the frames have been announced as the Women’s Sunglasses Frame of The Year, expect them to sell out shortly.
