Weightless is a new limited edition eyewear collection that strips away excess and elevates essentials. A collaboration between Stockholm-based brands Deadwood and Vasuma, the collection features two rimless sunglass models—Colletti and Macrelaps—crafted from ultra-lightweight, recycled Swedish surgical steel. Each frame is available in just two colorways—Grey and Pink Gradient—with only 50 pieces produced per colorway, making this release a rare blend of progressive design and collectibility.
Where Sustainability Meets Scandinavian Precision
Weightless is more than a name. It’s a design principle, a state of mind, and a tribute to clarity—in form, function, and thought. These rimless frames are built on minimalist architecture, cut from recycled surgical-grade steel and engineered in Italy with a featherlight feel. The collaboration honors a shared ethos between both brands: to challenge convention, merge modernity with sustainability, and create products that speak to freedom over conformity.
What is Deadwood?
Deadwood is a Stockholm-based fashion brand known for its commitment to sustainability and circular design. Specializing in garments made from recycled leather and repurposed materials, Deadwood challenges conventional fashion norms by merging bold style with environmental responsibility. Every piece reflects the brand’s core values of innovation, craftsmanship, and conscious production. Through collaborations like Weightless, Deadwood continues to expand its vision—proving that fashion can be both progressive and grounded in purpose.
Colletti:
The Colletti model brings fluidity to the rimless form. Its softly oval lenses create a calm and elegant silhouette, complemented by matte black temples that extend seamlessly into sculpted steel tips. The monomaterial design language feels effortless yet technical, grounded in the signature co-branded temple and nose pad details that mark the frame’s identity. Available in Grey or Pink Gradient lenses, Colletti offers a refined, barely-there presence for those drawn to subtlety and clarity.Â
Macrelaps:
Macrelaps is Colletti’s bolder counterpart. Defined by angular, rectangular lenses and a flat brow, this frame has a deliberate, technical silhouette that contrasts with its near-invisible weight. Precision milling, matte black hardware, and integrated custom touches give the frame its industrial edge. The Grey or Pink Gradient lenses add softness to the structure, delivering a minimalist aesthetic that’s assertive but wearable.
Packaging and Accessories
Each Weightless frame arrives in a handcrafted presentation box, accompanied by a foldable case and microfiber pouch/cleaning cloth, reinforcing the collaboration’s thoughtful, design-forward approach. Even the accessories feel like an extension of the vision—efficient, stylish, and built to last.
